Description
The Common holly 'Amber' (Ilex aquifolium) is a sprawling, pyramidal large shrub with decorative, orange-coloured fruits that stay on for a very long time. It produces inconspicuous flowers from May to June. The Common holly 'Amber' also has shiny, lanceolate, glossy, dark green leaves. In a semi-shady to shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 8 metres and grows to a width of around 2.5 metres.
