Description
The Japanese holly 'Caroline Upright' (Ilex crenata) is a bushy, upright shrub with decorative, black fruits that stay on for a very long time. It produces creamy white flowers from May to June. The Japanese holly 'Caroline Upright' also has medium green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, loose, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 2 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.5 metres.
