Description
The Japanese holly 'Green Lustre' (Ilex crenata) is a broad, dense small shrub with decorative, black fruits. It produces creamy white flowers from May to June. The Japanese holly 'Green Lustre' also has roundish, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, loose, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 2.5 metres.
