Description
The Japanese holly 'Rotundifolia' (Ilex crenata) is a compact, roundish small shrub with decorative, black fruits that stay on for a very long time. It produces creamy white flowers from May to June. The Japanese holly 'Rotundifolia' also has glossy, roundish, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, loose, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 1.5 metres and grows to around 2 metres wide.
