Description
The Tarajo-Stechpalme (Ilex latifolia) is a large, upright shrub that produces greenish-white flowers with a pleasant fragrance. They appear from April to May. These produce orange-red fruits from September. They exude a pleasant fragrance. The Tarajo-Stechpalme also has glossy, broadly lanceolate, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of around 7 metres.
