Description
The Maximowicz's holly (Ilex maximowicziana var. kanehirae) is a slender, shrub-like shrub that produces white flowers. They appear from May to June. These produce black, round fruits. They are small. The Maximowicz's holly also has lanceolate, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 2.5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 2 metres.
