Description
The Japanischer Sternanis (Illicium anisatum) is a bushy, compact garden plant that produces pale yellow flowers. They appear from May to June. The Japanischer Sternanis also has shiny, leathery, pointed, egg-shaped, dark green leaves. In a sunny, sheltered location with well-drained, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 80 cm and grows to a width of approx. 50 cm.
