Description
The Elecampane (Inula helenium) is an upright perennial that produces yellow, radial flowers from July to August. Its lanceolate leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.8 m and is approx. 1.5 m wide. The Elecampane is well tolerant of frost.
