Description
The Japanese flag 'Diamant' (Iris ensata) is a rhizome-forming perennial that produces white flowers from June to July. Its lanceolate leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny location with humus-rich, lime-free, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 80 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Japanese flag 'Diamant' is well tolerant of frost.
