Description
Dutch iris (Iris x hollandica) is an upright, compact, rhizome-forming perennial that produces blue, yellow or white flowers from June to July. Its linear leaves are medium green. In a sunny position with well-drained, humus-rich, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of around 40 cm and spreads to around 10 cm. The Dutch iris is highly frost-hardy.
