Description
The Dutch iris (Iris x hollandica) is an upright, compact, rhizome-forming perennial that produces blue, yellow or white flowers from June to July. Its linear leaves are medium green. In a sunny location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 40 cm and is approx. 10 cm wide. The Dutch iris is well tolerant of frost.
