Description
The Iris 'Ann Chowning' (Iris louisiana) is an upright, compact, rhizome-forming perennial that produces purple-red flowers from May to June. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 40 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Iris 'Ann Chowning' is well tolerant of frost.
