Description
With its medium green leaves, Yellow flag (Iris pseudacorus) is an extremely decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for areas such as the cutting, cottage garden, pond edge, balcony/patio, bee pasture and stream. Yellow flowers appear from May to July. It prefers humus-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The Yellow flag is well tolerant of frost. The upright, rhizome-forming plant usually reaches a height of approx. 1 metre.
