Description
The Early bulbous iris (Iris reticulata) is an upright, compact, rhizome-forming perennial that produces blue flowers with a pleasant fragrance from February to March. Its lanceolate leaves are medium green. In a sunny location with well-drained, loose soil, it usually grows to a height of approx. 15 cm and is approx. 8 cm wide. The Early bulbous iris is well tolerant of frost.
