Description
The Rheumatism Root (Jeffersonia diphylla) is a rhizome-forming perennial that produces white, cup-shaped flowers from April to May. Its kidney-shaped leaves are medium green. In a semi-shady to shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, moist to wet soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 40 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Rheumatism Root is well tolerant of frost.
