Description
The Common walnut 'Chandler' (Juglans regia) produces green-brown, large fruits. They are oval and have an aromatic flavour. Well-drained, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil and a sunny to semi-shady location create the ideal conditions for a high-yield harvest from the end of September. Its green-yellow flowers are a beautiful sight. With its sprawling and picturesque growth, the Common walnut 'Chandler' grows to around 20 metres high and 15 metres wide.
