Description
The Common walnut 'Lara' (Juglans regia) produces green-brown fruits. They are oval and have an aromatic flavour. Well-drained, humus-rich, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil and a sunny to semi-shady location create the ideal conditions for a high-yield harvest from September. Its green-yellow flowers are a beautiful sight. With its compact and rounded habit, the Common walnut 'Lara' grows to around 6 metres high and 6 metres wide.
