Description
The Common walnut 'Weinheimer Nr. 139' (Juglans regia) is a sprawling, picturesque large tree that produces greenish-yellow flowers. They appear in May. Light brown, oval nuts emerge from these from mid-September. They are medium-sized. The Common walnut 'Weinheimer Nr. 139' also has pinnate, dark green leaves. Its bark is dark grey and deeply fissured. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 10 metres and grows to a width of approx. 10 metres.
