Description
With its medium green leaves, Corkscrew rush (Juncus effusus) is an extremely decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for areas such as pond edges, streams, ponds, borders, woodland edges, containers and perennial beds. Yellow flowers appear from July to August. It prefers humus-rich, lime-free soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The Corkscrew rush is well tolerant of frost. The upright, clump-forming plant usually reaches a height of approx. 80 cm.
