Description
With its blue-green leaves, Hard Rush (Juncus inflexus) is a highly decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for areas such as pond edges, streams, ponds, flowerbed edging and woodland borders. Brown flowers appear from July to August. It prefers well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The Hard Rush is well tolerant of frost. The upright, clump-forming plant usually reaches a height of approx. 70 cm.
