Description
The Chinese juniper (Juniperus communis) is a large shrub that grows in a columnar shape and usually reaches a height of around 8 metres and a width of around 3 metres. Its needle-shaped leaves are blue-green in colour. Decorative black-brown cones adorn Juniperus communis from September. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers well-drained soil in a sunny position.

Care

The black-brown cones of Juniperus communis are particularly decorative. These appear from September.
