Description
The Flaky juniper 'Meyeri' (Juniperus squamata) is a large shrub that grows in a funnel shape and usually reaches a height of around 5 metres and a width of around 3 metres. Its needle-shaped leaves are silver-blue in colour. Decorative blue cones adorn Juniperus squamata 'Meyeri' from August. This shrub is well tolerant of frost. It prefers well-drained, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected position.
