Description
The Mountain laurel 'Heart of Fire' (Kalmia latifolia) is an upright, broad shrub that produces red and white flowers. These appear from May to June. In a sunny to semi-shaded position with humus-rich, acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 3 m and spreads to around 3 m.
