Description
The Mountain laurel 'Black Label' (Kalmia latifolia) is an upright, dense, compact small shrub that produces dark red-white, cupped flowers arranged in umbels. They appear from May to June. The Mountain laurel 'Black Label' also has shiny, leathery, lanceolate, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with humus-rich, loose, acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 1.5 metres and grows to around 1.5 metres wide.
