Description
The Mountain laurel 'Carousel' (Kalmia latifolia) is an upright, broad shrub that produces multicoloured, cup-shaped flowers arranged in umbel-like clusters. These appear from May to June. The Mountain laurel 'Carousel' also bears glossy, lanceolate, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shaded position with humus-rich, acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 1.5 m and spreads to around 1 m.
