Description
The Mountain laurel 'Olympic Fire' (Kalmia latifolia) is an upright, broad shrub that produces pink, cupped flowers arranged in umbels. They appear in June. The Mountain laurel 'Olympic Fire' also has shiny, lanceolate, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with humus-rich, acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 m and grows to approx. 1 m wide.
