Description
The Mountain laurel 'Ostbo Red' (Kalmia latifolia) is an upright, broad shrub that produces pink, cupped flowers arranged in umbels. They appear from May to June. The Mountain laurel 'Ostbo Red' also has matt, lanceolate, light green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with humus-rich, acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 2 metres.
