Description
The Japanese rose (Kerria japonica) is an overhanging shrub that produces golden yellow, cup-shaped flowers. They appear from April to May. The Japanese rose also has egg-shaped, medium-green leaves. Its bark is green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 2 metres and grows to around 2 metres wide.
