Description
The Red hot poker 'Alcazar' (Kniphofia uvaria) is an upright, clump-forming perennial that produces orange-red flowers arranged in cobs from July to September. Its linear leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 90 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Red hot poker 'Alcazar' is well tolerant of frost.
