Description
The Red hot poker (Kniphofia) is an upright, clump-forming, loose perennial that produces yellow, red or orange-coloured flowers from June to September. In a sunny location with well-drained, dry soil, it usually reaches a height of around 1 metre. The Red hot poker is well tolerant of frost.
