Description
The Fackellilie (Kniphofia rooperi) is an upright, clump-forming, loose perennial that produces yellow-reddish, spike-shaped flowers from July to September. Its linear leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained, dry soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.2 m and grows to a width of approx. 40 cm. The Fackellilie is well tolerant of frost.

Synonyms (botanical): Kniphofia longicollis, Kniphofia 'C.M. Prichard'.
