Description
The Common laburnum (Laburnum anagyroides) is an upright, funnel-shaped small tree with decorative, green-brown pods. It produces light yellow, butterfly-shaped flowers arranged in clusters from May to June. The Common laburnum also has hairy, three-celled, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of approx. 7 metres and is approx. 4 metres wide. The Common laburnum makes no particular demands on the soil.
