Description
The Chileglöckchen (Lapageria rosea) is a very popular, evergreen container plant that can produce greenish-yellow fruit if well cared for. Its decorative flowers are funnel-shaped and appear from June to September. The dark green leaves are pointed, ovate and glossy. The location should be as sunny to semi-shady as possible. A well-drained, loose and nutrient-rich soil is ideal. Under favourable conditions, the Chileglöckchen reaches a height of approx. 1.5 m and grows up to 1 m wide.
