Description
The Japanese larch 'Magic Gold' (Larix kaempferi) is a small shrub that grows broad and compact and usually reaches a height of around 1.5 metres and a width of around 1.5 metres. Its needle-shaped leaves are greenish-yellow in colour. They turn a beautiful golden yellow in autumn. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers well-drained, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny position.
