Description
The Tree lavatera 'Burgundy Wine' (Lavatera thuringiaca) is a bushy, upright, clump-forming perennial that produces purple-red, cup-shaped flowers from July to November. Its palmate, lobed leaves are grey-green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.3 m and grows to a width of approx. 80 cm. The Tree lavatera 'Burgundy Wine' is well tolerant of frost.
