Description
The Thunberg lespedeza (Lespedeza thunbergii) is a spreading, overhanging small shrub that produces purple-red flowers arranged in panicles. They appear from September to November. The Thunberg lespedeza also has three dark green leaves. In a sunny location, it usually reaches a height of around 1 metre and grows to a width of around 3 metres. The Thunberg lespedeza makes no particular demands on the soil.
