Description
The Dog-hobble 'Carinella' (Leucothoe walteri) is a sprawling, overhanging small shrub that produces creamy white, bell-shaped flowers arranged in clusters with a pleasant fragrance. They appear from May to June. The Dog-hobble 'Carinella' also has shiny, lanceolate, dark green leaves. The red shoots are also an interesting sight. In a semi-shady to shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, humus-rich, acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 1.2 m and is around 1.2 m wide.
