Description
The Golden groundsel (Ligularia dentata) is a bushy, upright perennial that forms golden yellow, basket-shaped flowers arranged in umbels from August to September. Its roundish leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.2 m and grows to a width of approx. 80 cm. The Golden groundsel is well tolerant of frost.

- Preventive snail defence is advisable, as this plant is unfortunately very popular with snails.
