Description
The Liquidambar (Liquidambar acalycina) is a broad, deciduous garden plant with decorative, dark green leaves. The dark red shoots are also an interesting sight. It also bears light green flowers from April to May. In a sunny to semi-shady location with humus-rich, acidic, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 25 metres and grows to a width of around 10 metres.
