Description
The Sweet gum 'Pendula' (Liquidambar styraciflua) is a hanging tree with decorative, brown, round fruits that remain on the tree for a very long time. It produces greenish-yellow flowers in May. The Sweet gum 'Pendula' also has deeply slit, medium green leaves. In a sunny location with lime-free, nutrient-rich, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 6 metres.
