Description
The Tulip tree (Liriodendron tulipifera) is a broad, ovoid large tree with decorative, green-brown, conical fruits. It produces yellow-green, cup-shaped flowers from May to June. The Tulip tree also has egg-shaped, medium green leaves. In a sunny, wind-protected location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 35 metres and is around 20 metres wide.
