Description
The Big blue lilyturf 'Royal Purple' (Liriope muscari) is an upright, winter-green perennial that forms blue-violet flowers arranged in panicles from August to October. Its linear leaves are medium green. In a semi-shady to shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, lime-free, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 40 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Big blue lilyturf 'Royal Purple' is well tolerant of frost.
