Description
The Honeysuckle (Lonicera x americana) is a climbing, deciduous plant with decorative, red fruits. These exude a pleasant fragrance. It produces yellow-red flowers in July. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, calcareous, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 8 metres and grows to a width of around 2 metres.
