Description
The Honeysuckle 'Altaj' (Lonicera caerulea var. kamtschatica) produces blue berries. These are sweet, with a sweet-sour flavour. Well-drained, humus-rich, lime-free soil and a sunny to semi-shady location create the ideal conditions for a high-yielding harvest from May. Its white, slightly fragrant flowers are a beautiful sight. With its compact and branched growth, the Honeysuckle 'Altaj' grows to around 2 m high and 1.5 m wide, making it ideal for growing in pots on balconies or terraces.
