Description
The Blue-berried honeysuckle (Lonicera caerulea) is an upright, overhanging garden plant with decorative, dark blue fruits. These exude a light fragrance. It produces creamy white, funnel-shaped flowers from April to May. The Blue-berried honeysuckle also has egg-shaped, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with humusy, sandy, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 2.5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 2.5 metres.
