Description
The Honeysuckle (Lonicera heckrottii) is a bushy, climbing, deciduous plant with decorative, red fruits. These exude a pleasant fragrance. It produces carmine-red, tubular flowers arranged in whorls from June to September. With the right care, the Honeysuckle blooms again from October to November. The Honeysuckle also has egg-shaped, blue-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 4 metres and grows to around 3 metres wide.
