Description
The Winter honeysuckle 'Winter Beauty' (Lonicera purpusii) is a dense, branched shrub with decorative, red, round fruits. These exude a strong fragrance. It produces creamy white, lip-shaped flowers from February to March. The Winter honeysuckle 'Winter Beauty' also has lanceolate, dark green leaves. In a semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of around 2.5 metres and grows to around 3 metres wide. The Winter honeysuckle 'Winter Beauty' makes no particular demands on the soil.
