Description
The Osage Orange (Maclura pomifera) is a broad, roundish small tree with decorative, light green, round fruits. These are large. It produces yellow-green flowers from April to June. The Osage Orange also has egg-shaped, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of around 15 metres and is around 12 metres wide. The Osage Orange makes no particular demands on the soil.
