Description
The Black lily magnolia 'Betty' (Magnolia liliiflora) is a shrub-like, upright, broad large shrub that produces purple, funnel-shaped flowers. They appear from April to May. The Black lily magnolia 'Betty' also has shiny, egg-shaped, dark green leaves. Its bark is grey and smooth. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 4.5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 3.7 metres.
