Description
The Magnolia (Magnolia biondii) is a broad, branched small tree that produces white-pink flowers with a pleasant fragrance. They appear in April. The Magnolia also has glossy, broadly lanceolate, medium-green leaves. The reddish shoots are also an interesting sight. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 12 metres and grows to a width of around 8 metres.
